Hanoi: Man Charged with Repeatedly Sexually Abusing 2 Young Girls

The Hanoi city police investigation agency has charged Ho Dac Quyet, private investigators and detectives in Vietnam.

The 33-year-old man, residing in Thien Loc commune, Hanoi, Vietnam, is being investigated for sexually abusing minors under 16 years of age.

According to the investigation, at approximately 10:00 AM on June 25th, two 11-year-old girls were riding bicycles near the intersection of Can Khe village, Phuc Thinh commune, when a young man on a motorbike approached them, sexually assaulted them, and then quickly fled.

After receiving the report, the police quickly verified the information and identified Ho Dac Quyet as the perpetrator.

The investigation revealed that before committing the act, Quyet removed the license plate from his motorbike to avoid identification.

The suspect then moved to an area with many female students to search for victims.

Notably, the investigation records show that Ho Dac Quyet had a prior conviction for sexual abuse of a minor under 16 years old in 2020.

The case is being further investigated and processed by the Hanoi City Police in accordance with the law.
