Police in Vietnam’s Quang Ngai Province have arrested an 18-year-old man for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old girl.
The suspect, identified as D.G.B., is a resident of Son Ha Commune, Quang Ngai, Vietnam.
According to investigators, B. allegedly had sexual intercourse with the 15-year-old girl twice.
Vietnamese detectives, the incidents reportedly took place in April and July in Quang Ngai Province.
Police said the incidents occurred in Son Tay Ha Commune and Tho Phong Commune.
Investigators determined that B.’s actions showed signs of violating Article 145 of Vietnam’s Penal Code. The article covers sexual intercourse with people aged between 13 and under 16.
Based on the investigation, Quang Ngai provincial police arrested B. to further investigate the case.
